Sustainable Agribusiness Development

Nigeria 2016, Kogi State. Representatives of the government, Ministry of Agriculture, Leaders of rural communities, private sector, designing routes that generate Sustainable Agribusiness, based on the strengths of the regions and their local dynamics, the community must be the fundamental basis of sustainable development, large Agribusiness projects can be executed respecting the Standards of soil and water conservation,  use of environmentally friendly inputs, tools and equipment, reducing CO2 emissions in all processes, and educating the planet about climate change. These agreements are possible with the participation of all the "Stakeholders" of the Agribusiness Chain.

In Nigeria, the development of large-scale agro-industrial projects is promoted, which generate a great economic, social and environmental impact, Nigeria is the main producer of Cassava in the World[1], it is its great strength, the potential for agribusiness in this sector is great, it is also one of the most populous countries in the world,  it is the sixth with 229 million inhabitants[2].  Sustainable agribusiness is an alternative for development and growth for regions, conserving and promoting resources for future generations. Government, private sector and Communities together must write the path of Sustainable Agribusiness.
