There are different types of pruning in agriculture, growing pruning, phytosanitary pruning and harvest pruning among others. This practice generates a wound that must be disinfected and sealed with the application of a healing agent of organic mineral origin in order to prevent the entry of organisms harmful to the plant.
The use of organic mineral healing agents that do not leave chemical residues on the plant is recommended. Products based on Sulfur, Copper and Calcium are the most used in sustainable agriculture systems.
